Vivian Y. Stone MS, LMHC
Vivian Stone is a Licensed Master level Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice on the Treasure Coast. She is also employed with Whole Family Health Center in St. Lucie and Indian River County, overseeing and implementing their program policies and procedures. Additionally, she is a Professor at Indian River State College teaching courses within the Human Services Program.
With over 15 years of experience working with children, couples and families on the Treasure Coast she has successfully assisted many individuals in reaching their goals. A graduate of Barry University specializing in Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Person Centered and Behavioral Modification Therapy modals, she is currently serving the community as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Vivian is a strong advocate for families serving in St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, and the Okeechobee area. Previously a Victim Advocate shows her dedication of service to people in the community employed with the 19th Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office Victims Services Program from November, 1997 through June 20, 2000. She has presented at Public Schools, Universities and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Family Therapy, Parenting Skills, Domestic Violence, Women and Teenage issues.
Vivian integrates complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion, understanding, and a low client flow, she is committed to providing quality counseling to her clients.
